Dear sir,
My ward is studying in gulf since last 8 years. She has passed 11th standard. As we are planning to move to India. Can she appear for the AIEEE if she completes her 12th std in India.
Pls reply me as soon as possible.
Jessy
Dear Jessy,
AIEEE exam can be given irrespective of where you do your 12th std. Therefore, your daughter would be eligible to apply for AIEEE. However, she would not be eligible for DASA quota for NRIs which is applicable for NRIs children doing 11/12 from abroad.

My daughter is a OCI card holder studying In India for the past 3 years. Can she apply to government medical colleges like JIPMER
Dear Vidya,
The only way for admissions to govt medical colleges is thru competitive exams (AIPMT, state CETs etc) as there is no separate quota for NRI/OCI/FN. On the other hand, all private medical colleges have 10-15% reservations for NRIs.
